Stories
This is a true story that happened to me (the shy girl), my sister Jenny (the youngest girl), and my close friends Shylynn (the braver girl) and Bum (the boy.  just the boy.).
Peabody's Tale Of Horror
Our story begins how many stories do, on a dark and dreary night with a dky full of coulds and teenagers full of excitement.  The four teens decided to go to their favorite coffe house, Peabody's, and see if there were any interesting shows.  They asked the owner, a perverted middle-aged man with a twitching problem, if there was going to be anything going on.  It truns out that they had driven across the river for nothing.  Disappointed, they sat down in the booth nearest the door and ordered some food.  The youngest of the three females went to the kitchen to cook the group's meal consisting of Mozzarella sticks and seasoned french fries.  The other three waited patienty for her return.  As they talked amongst themselves, and old man shuffled by and suddenly started dancing.  This prompted a great amount of laughter from the teens.  The one who had gone to the kitchen returned with two baskets of food.  She noticed that the others were laughing at the old man and gave them a scolding look.  She set the baskets down in front of the hungry group and sat down.  The food was surrounded and and attacked despite the heat radiating off of it as some feeble sort of protection against any who might devour it.  After they had finished off the last few fries, they decided to go for a walk around the area.  They walked past a candy store, cursing it for not being opened and the boy noted that it looked like the candy store form Willy Wonka.  Walking a few blocks from the old store,  they stopped to consider going back for free pot.  They all agreed it was the thing to do at that time.  Walking back, one of the girls spotted two wheelchair bound persons and quickly pointed them out to the others.  These wheelchair people were known for racing each other in their electric powered wheelchairs, providing much entertainment.  As the couple disappeard behind a corner, the group decided to chase them.  They walked a couple of blocks, discussing their plan of leaping out on the unsuspecting handicapps, when suddenly they heard the most evil laughter imaginable.  As they looked to their right, they noticed there in the doorway, the two wheelchair persons!  The male and female cripples were in a horrid state, the girls's hair flowing in the non-existent wind.  Two of the girls were so scared that they started running, with the boy and other girl catching up quickly behind them.  As they slowed in their running, the two older girls noticed a dead bird.  The girls, being facinated with death, stopped to look at it.  Just as the others joined them, one of the enthralled girls kicked the bird.  They all screamed as it moved around.  Seeing blood drip form the thing's mouth the girl who had kicked it suggested that she and the other girl kill it.  The other girl had no objections to this venture, and proceeded to look for an object of destruction.  The young girl who had walked with the boy asked repeatidly for its life to be spared.  Her requests were cruelly denied as the two blood-hungry girls finally decided the weapon was to be a potted tree.  They lifted the tree and set it upon the bird and were rewarded with a sickening crunch.  They removed the tree and found a box to serve as some sort of a crypt.  They then walked on, explaining that the bird would have died and needed to be put out of its misery.  The others agreed, although they had wished they hadn't had to witness its death.  As they arrived back at peabody's the girl that had pleaded for the life of the bird went to get the pot that they had come for, desperatly needing it now to calm them down.  She returned shortly after with a nicely rolled joint.  They went outside in search of a good place to smoke it.  They finally decided on a woodsy area.  They lit the joint and were all enjoying the feeling of nirvana when they heard an angry voice question them as to who was getting his woods all smokey, and then yelling violently at them to stop.  The group, being freaked out from the earlier happenings in addition to the pot decided to get out of there as quickly as possible.  They crossed the busy street, paranoid as dould be because the boy still held the lit joint.  They stood in the parking lot and finished it off.  Walking back to Peabody's the two girls that had ran in fright from the wheelchair-ridden horrors saw them again.  The group decided to sit down in front of the coffe house.  The owner brought them some water to ease their seemingly unquenchable thirst.  After they had finished off the pitcher of ice water, they decided to try to find the two handicapped who seemed to disappear as eerily as they had appeared.  They needed to have some sort of closure.  They procedded to the spot where they had first encountered the couple and the braver of the three girls saw a wheel in the shadows.  Just then a door in the alley opened!  They all screamed, the shyest girl jumped, nearly knocking over the boy next to her.  A deliveryman looked at them and inquired if he had frightened them.  They lied and told him that he hadn't.  They walked on th discover that the wheel was the man's bike tire.  As they passed another coffe house the brave girl heard a squeak.  They all looked to the right once again to discover....a wheelchair!  They all screamed again as the wind quickly picked up furiousness and ran back the way they had came.  As they did, they encountered the deliveryman again.  He paused in the middle of loading his cargo, making the group stop dead in their trakcs.  He asked if they could feel the wind.  He then asked then if it felt good to be alive.  The teens, very freaked out, quickly answered him with a few nods of agreement.  As the man began to move his hands, then his arms, the four friends started walking quicker to avoid what may happen.  As they passed the spot where they had encountered the bird, they noticed that the box had been moved to its original positionand the bird was gone!  The shy girl determined that this was their feeding ground and that they had better leave soon to avoid the same fate as the bird.  They all agreed and walked on to find themselves in the safe, warm glow of Peabody's where our story ends....until their next encounter.
